His buddy is pleading guilty to six charges, including child sex trafficking. And will cooperate with the investigation. Gotta think Gaetz's time out of (LE related) handcuffs is getting short.

Joel Greenberg
, an associate of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) who is at the center of a federal sex trafficking investigation, will plead guilty to six charges in connection with the probe including child sex trafficking.

According to an agreement filed in a Florida federal court Friday that included his plea, the former tax collector also stated he will cooperate with the investigation.

I hear it's imminent
We will find out relatively soon. The Feds don't knock off 20+ charges unless you can do something for them in getting a bigger target.
It will be fun to see if anyone lets him on their airwaves the next few days. I am sure the producers of Tucker Carlson's show didn't tap "accept", when Matt's phone showed up on caller ID.

I don't know about the Tucker Carlson part? They're in it for ad revenue.

Just look at that disastrous interview Hannity had with Brucelin Jenner.

There is no standard too low for Fox.

The police should send social workers to apprehend him. If he runs, let him run. Then they can try to pick him up some other day.
Are you saying Gaetz is suffering from mental health issues? Those are the situations where some people believe social workers could provide a more appropriate response.

Serious question, do you think if he ran from the police they would shoot him? Do you think they would restrain him on the ground for 9+ minutes? I don't. Now if he was not a public figure instead poor, and/or black, I think something like that might happen to a suspect with a similar charge who attempted to run.

He's privileged and doesn't care.

What is pretty clear is that Greenberg's help is being backed up by another witness. It sounds like one of the women involved also cut a deal to get off the hook for hindering the investigation.

From the looks of Gaetz, he's not going to outrun very many people (or maybe he just has a big head? I don't know, I never really paid attention to that). However, this also isn't a situation you would send a social worker to.

He might have mental health issues. If he's arranging sex with underaged individuals, I would say that meets the definition.

I do think that if the FBI raided his home to arrest him, if he resisted arrest and ran, yes, they would shoot him. And I would be A-OK with them taking him down.

No way they would shoot him if he wasn't armed.
