What if Trump has a complete meltdown during his trial? Would the judge hold him in contempt of court? I see the max penalty is six months in jail?

Can Trump still run for president behind bars?

I think we see a conviction. There are 34 felonies here. It'll be really hard for Trump to beat them all especially with the horribly bad counsel he has.
Probably true but they better nail him. The campaign talking points he will have in his pocket will be bad for the left.
" I'm a winner"
" I told you it's a witch hunt"
" I am the absolute best at facing and beating felonies"

the trump team political talking points will be basically the same regardless of the outcome

found guilty: "this is all just an unfair political witchhunt!"
found not guilty: "see, i told you this was just a political witchhunt!"

Yup. And the other side is saying "We just need to let the process work it's way out." And if he gets off they change to "The process is broken."
