That’s exactly what they are doing! Because the real disrespect was SC’s head coach and that young ladies 6’5 plus team mates not telling her to “let ‘er fly! If they aren’t going to guard out there!” SC dam near grabbed every offensive rebound. she didn’t take any of those wide open shots. Whose fault is that?? Then went 3-5 from deep in the 2nd half. 😂

That was Clark and Iowa getting in their heads and it worked. If you are worried about that causing hard fouls or issue in handshake line I saw far worse things happen on the court just playing high school ball. It’s small potatoes compared to stuff that goes on in both men’s and women’s game let alone things said. They are in the final 4 not a 5th grade Rec league so spare me the sportsmanship talk. If a player is bothered by it grow some thicker skin or don’t play D1 b-ball.
Also for comparisons sake I’ve seen same type of stuff against pro players like Russell Westbrook or Ben Simmons just daring them to shoot.

The officiating clearly, unquestionably favored Cocky. Not calling 3 seconds is a huge advantage when one team has two or three very tall players camped in the lane. I mean like 3 players that are all simultaneously in the lane for 10 seconds.
You can get a lot of rebounds if the refs allow the outside rebounder to just push the player with position in the back.
