Beheading due to the sacrilege of symbolically defaming the constitution. They should reimburse the grounds crew for the cleaning expenses and that's it

I wonder what the Founding Fathers would think about the notion of beheadings as a penalty for damaging a document. It's weird when people care more about the symbolism of something than the message.

The case is supposedly designed to be dropped into a bunker and survive a nuclear blast. Beheading is a tad too much if the documents were unaffected. Not a fan of what they did, but maybe a few years in jail is more appropriate.
