Oklahoma goes down

Tired legs which many blow off as an explanation. Buddy Hield has played a ton of minutes this year and they are not deep at all. They have been losing down the stretch now too.

not quite the same as losing to PSU, but loss @ Texas Tech by #3 team doesn't help their situation, either. Seem to be struggling, too...

TT might be ranked this week!!!!

PSU will probably jump in the RPI, but still Iowa's first 100+ loss stings! Iowa has to overcome that and win out!

PSU is right at 100 right now.

If they can win some games down the road (they play the bottom feeders) their RPI should be around 100.

IF they can finish in the top 100, that helps iowa a little. If they finish outside of the top 100, that hurts Iowa.

And, even if tech is slightly better than Penn, OU had already lost to k state.

2 bad losses > 1

FYI - K-State's RPI is 66 and Texas Tech is 31, so neither could be categorized as "bad", but not teams a top 5 team should lose to, home or away.

Yup Agree, TT & K-State are bad teams usually but their RPI is high so it doesn't look like a bad loss!

Iowa got beat by a team around 100. PSU is a bad loss. ISU lost to UNI who is currently sitting at 104 (was 125+) a few weeks ago. So every team has a bad loss, but if Iowa fans wanted a 1 or 2 seed, this loss could end up costing them.
