I have zero inside knowledge and am purely speculating here but I have to believe the longer it goes the better for the hawks. Especially if we have another steller season. Program on the rise, hometown kid, that could become a legend. I won't blame him for wanting to go somewhere else because you only get so many good chances to do so but being in IC should really pull some weight once we start the season.
If he has Hawkeye blood, then he is a Hawkeye. If he does not, then we move on. We will be fine either way.
Sounds like he'll be at the game Saturday. Hope that's a good sign! Martin would be a GREAT fit for Iowa's offense. It'st easy to picture Stanley (or Wiegers) picking defenses apart with a precision passing game. Iowa really needs this student athlete!
I agree, would love to see him in a hawk uniform but we have plenty of other guys and we won't miss a beat if we miss on him.
That sounds like the plan. He has multiple offers and is able to take his time. He may get tired of all the recruiting calls and decide but why not take visit to Oregon and Notre Dame then decide?? He has been to Iowa practices, today's game and I would guess Will attend future games in IC too
