I am confused. Did I not see that Oliver had an official visit scheduled for Oregon On 9/9/16? Did he cancel that or did he make that and fly back for hawks game on 09/10/16. I saw where the Texas WR spent some time with him on visit. I could not find any mention of this on forums page.

He canceled the Oregon visit and went to the Iowa game. That's 2 in a row. That's a good sign in my books.

If he didn't like Kinnick on sat night - something is wrong with him! The place was rocking, a glorious victory, the stripes looked good, the lights from the phones looked cool - a great place to play!!

It'd be hard to blame him if he takes another offer. Growing up under the shadow of Kinnick is great and I'm sure he's been to a ton of games, but at 17/18 years old and making a decision of where to spend the next four or five years... it's hard for me to blame the kid for wanting to strike out on his own if he does. I hope his heart is at home but it's just one of those things where if you try to empathize with the kid what looks clear to a thirty/forty/fifty something isn't nearly that way in his shoes.

Every kid is different because when I was that age and had the chance to go to Iowa I would have jumped at it. I'm not saying it's wrong but it's different.

I haven't sought out the picture, but I heard he was wearing the KMM 2-star shirt, and I know I've seen a prior photo of him with that shirt on in Kinnick. I like to think that this means he's an Iowa guy. We'll see.

Yep, I grew up dreaming about playing for the Hawkeyes too. No way I would have went anywhere else. I felt the same way when I was in high school too.
