I remember back in the olden days, that you'd go to the post office to pick up a paper copy of the tax form and accompanying prep book. Everyone would fill out the tax forms and on the evening of the filing deadline, the post offices would stay open late and there'd be lines of cars waiting to turn theirs in, so it could get stamped in time. I guess everyone who doesn't want to pay for filing can go back to that.

We don't do it that way for a reason and our government shouldn't be going out of its way to make things more difficult for us. They aren't going to lower your taxes so you can give it to a private company. They are going to raise your taxes and require you to pay a private company to do these things. I remember when I first read about a central bank buying stock. I thought, wait a minute, they can just print money and buy shares of businesses with it? WTF!
I’d support a sovereign wealth fund that was filled with bitcoin from federal mineral rights.
In the end I think it would be impossible to stop political influence (and corruption) over a sovereign wealth fund that was buying up businesses.
