Tonight's starting lineup:
Bohannon
Moss
Wagner
Cook
Garza
Pemsl and Dailey inactive again (injury)
With 6:35 left in the first quarter, Iowa leads the Vicenza All-Stars 11-3.
Cook (5) and Garza (4) combined for nine of Iowa's 11 points so far.
Dailey and Pemsl being out multiple games probably threw off his calculation.Hmmmm, wasn't Fran going to sit each guy a game and keep minutes about equal?
I have a feeling that someone is not feeling well. Maybe someone's. All that rich food? Just call this a hunch, but isn't this the forth game Garza has played, out of four?
In my eternally optimistic view...I have a feeling that what we've seen from Garza could be something we'd be seeing from multiple guys, but that there is a reason they aren't as productive.
Thoughts?

I think playing with Garza will be be good for Cook's development. Luka's probably the only real post-up center he's played with. In clips I see it's already getting him to use the midrange shot more. I can also envision passes from a posting Garza to a cutting Cook ending in emphatic dunks becoming a real threat this season.I haven't watched highlights - but I cannot WAIT to see Garza and Cook on the court at the same time. That kind of attack inside is really going to take the pressure off of the guards as we look to replace Jok's production.
