Any guesses? I think most of the focus this week will be on the Spartans and their "battle tested" schedule. We could be significant dogs in this one, which is great motivation.

We should be able to play with nothing to lose. We usually play much looser that way.

I'm guessing MSU -6. the last two weeks they smoked a decent PSU team and beat the undefeated national champs...at their place. Going to take a lot for the public to bet against that team vs Iowa.

Most power ratings and computer rankings have Michigan State favored by only a point or two. My guess is the line opens around MSU -3.5 or so. The public will likely be all over Michigan State, raising the line to -5 or -6 by the end of the week, by which time the sharps will hammer Iowa and drive the line back down to a field goal around game time.

I think being the underdog serves our team best. We have in fact overachieved this year. We did it around playing team football and that is what will need to be played if we beat MSU!

Early prediction - King gets special team punt return touchdown. ( takes that 7 points and makes it a pick em )

Common game....@Nebraska

We all know we fared better, but they were -4 and we were -1. I think it falls no more then 4.5. No way is a TD or more. None. Vegas will get hammered with Iowa bettors.

MSU -4.5. Seems to be a line that will have the public all over MSU. Exactly what Vegas wants because the real line should be closer to MSU -1.5. Both these teams are good. Can't wait.

-5 to -9 Michigan State...I will put me some money on Iowa...have $220 to pick up at the desk for Northwestern's win over Bucky.

Was going to bet Minnesota to win today, taking some points over Bucky...friend talked me out of it...did nothing.

He and I both collecting $100 for Iowa over Nebraska...

Of the three my best matchup for Iowa would be MSU...we will see...

No use debating the win. That's a fact. Still, the stats and the games prove MSU played the best game vs Nebraska. I will call it now. MSU wins going away. I hate saying that, bet it is what it is.

You're certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I highly doubt either team wins 'going away'. Iowa may give up a lot of yards, but not a lot of points. Going to be a great game.

What people seem to forget is the very much unfavorable weather conditions we were playing in during the last two games. I don't feel we are doomed at all. Indoors levels the playing field and doesn't allow mother nature to take away the passing game for 2 quarters. MSU will open as favorites, as did NW, Wisconsin and I am sure a few others. And not speaking totally in the sense of gambling, but among media as well.
