Keep in mind that betting lines are there to keep the money relatively even on both sides of the ball. Michigan has roughly 10 million people, Iowa has 3.2 million. Michigan -5.

Exactly. This is the same reason the Cowboys were favored against Carolina. Vegas didn't think the Cowboys were better...they just set the line at a spot where they would get even money on both sides. They knew people would go crazy laying on the Cowboys with Romo back, and Carolina hasn't quite got public approval yet.

MSU -4. That's about where I thought it would be. MSU was only a 1.5 favorite against PSU. MSU was a 5.5 favorite against Nebraska to open and we were 1.5 favorites, not that it matters.

We all know we fared better, but they were -4 and we were -1. I think it falls no more then 4.5. No way is a TD or more. None. Vegas will get hammered with Iowa bettors.
