The vast majority of Gazans killed are innocent women and children. Half the population is starving. Israel is now targeting aid trucks. Maybe you are comfortable saying Israel is good. That's your choice. But my opinion is that they are bad.
But the statement was not whether Israel had hit civilian targets.
It was that they seemingly weren’t concerned with doing so.
Where are we seeing that alledged non-concern?
(Hint: War is hell, especially against an opponent who uses its population as shields.)

When you hit civilian targets, then again, and again, and again - that would suggest imo that they aren't concerned with civilian casualties so long as they get the primary target.
Note: I'm not saying they don't care, but I would argue their pattern of behavior has created the perception that they do not. Those are not the same thing, but all too often, perception becomes reality.
They did everything they could and then bibi smiled as he explained it. It was intentional.
I hate the death of innocent people as much as anyone. This is war. It happens.
The idea that one can wage war against an asymmetrical enemy and not have civilian deaths when the enemy is hiding amongst them is ridiculous.
Hamas is evil. Hamas started this. Israel has to crush the Hamas. Anything short emboldens the enemy of the US and Israel and allowing portions of Hamas to remain merely postpones the larger war for another day as others have said.
Israel has no obligation to listen to us, or others, nor should we pontificate on a solution to a problem we cannot grasp fully.
If Mexico were targeting our civilians as Hamas has targeted Israel's, they would have been turned into a wasteland forthwith. Israel is surrounded by its enemies. As Americans we can't even pretend to understand the conditions they live under.
The Arab countries could long ago have ended all this, yet they haven't. They have had more peace proposals offered than one can count.
I have zero sympathy of Hamas. Return the hostages, elect real leaders and work for peace. They won't. So, they need to be killed. End of story.
Agreed - there is a difference tho b/t civilian deaths that are tragically incidental and ones that are avoidable imo. this strike on the aid convoy falls into the latter.
I've yet to see anyone say otherwise. I am sympathetic towards the Palestinian civilians who are being used by Hamas and thus are caught in the middle between Israel and its enemy here.
Israel has killed tens of thousands of kids. There are way more deaths of children than Hamas. This isn't a casualty of war. It's an eradication.
Hamas started this, Hamas is hiding behind those children. This would end if Hamas turned over the remaining hostages and surrendered.
Well this very avoidable tragedy happens all the time in war. See all prior US wars including the civilians we killed under Biden with a drone strike in a mistaken identity situation not that dissimilar.
Regretable to be sure. But marks a time to doubledown on safety/verifying targets rather than quit the cause.
Agreed. Once Hamas is destroyed, those that remain should learn from it and elect moderates.
Then Hamas needs to come out of hiding, form a line and start fighting in a manner consistent with all other fighting prior in modern war. Hiding amongst civilians and taking hostages are war crimes.
Hamas DGAF about its civilians.

Here's the question tho - assuming Hamas could actually be totally wiped out (I'm dubious), why, after 6+ months at this point of having their homes destroyed, and their friends/families killed during that war, do you think Palestinians will be inclined to elect moderates?
Heck, look at Israel - a large part of why their government has taken an increasingly hardline approach the past 20 years is precisely because Israeli citizens have gotten tired of seeing their homes destroyed and loved ones killed.
Hamas won't though. They don't care about Gazans. And Israel has joined them.

I disagree. Israel is doing what is required of it to destroy the enemy and continue to exist securely in an unsecure area.
This kind of attitude that you have is why the US cant seem to win a war since WWII. War sucks. Do what you need to do to win and win quickly and decisively.

I absolutely grasp that. I've been pointing out that Hamas are using kids as shields since this war began. So why aren't you upset that Israel is taking those shields away simply by killing the kids?

If this were a conventional war, I could see your argument.
But since we know that Hamas isn't going to stand and go toe-to-toe with the IDF, I just have to disagree with you. We learned in Vietnam, and especially more recently in Afghanistan, that trying to wage a conventional war against an opponent who won't stand and fight like you want them to, is a near-impossible task.
We just have to agree to disagree that Hamas can be destroyed using conventional military tactics.
