Just got done watching Karate Kid and as an Iowa fan, always makes me kind of sad :( as some of you may know. Sensei Kreese and the boys were just trying to teach Daniel (the Bully) some life lessons...Instead, he hires a Japanese hitman/voodoo priest using his Mom's Jersey mob connections to beat up the innocent boys of Cobra Kai and eventually bring shame up Sensei Kreese...himself a veteran of Vietnam and the Special Forces. Supposedly, "Mr. Miyagi" was a veteran who won the Medal of Honor but is it a coincidence that Miyagi was a junk collector and probably got the medal from a garage sale...guessing it's a clear case of stolen valor if you ask me. From what I heard, Miyagi was really a guard in the Bataan Death March for the Japanese Army. He is so corrupt that he even introduces Daniel to marijuana plant cultivation...Bonzai trees? Yea right.

So, why am I writing about the Karate Kid? I believe it was the seminal point where America began to turn into a bunch of wusses. Look at the whole story and you will see the creeping societal narrative that is trying to brainwash our kids. You see, it was the 1980s (a great decade btw...Reagan and Gable, amiright?) and they couldn't just start teaching sensitivity training in our schools because too many real Americans still existed and would have rooted out the hidden commie bastards. Why not use the principles of our fighting spirit and excellence to teach a whiney lesson that America sucks? Hell, they even used our sworn enemy to do it in Miyagi.

What does it have to do with Iowa Wrestling? Like Cobra Kai, Iowa is the best. Because of our excellence, others seek to push the subversive narrative that Iowa Wrestling are a bunch of bullies with their face-mushing and push outs. Gilman, Ramos, Metcalf, Stache, St. John? All would have been right at home in Sensei Kreese's dojo. However, individuals like TR Foley continue to sabotage the lessons that Iowa can teach to the world. I mean c'mon...TR? What kind of dbag goes by his initials? TR needs to cut down on his Sloe Gin Fizzes. Face mush away boys...you are helping the wrestlers you dominate be better men for it. Who doesn't learn from a good mushing?

So like Miyagi, the wrestling world is lauding another guy with a weird sounding name from a foreign place...Cael/Utah. Think about it: He's Mormon...don't they have magical underpants or something? His wrestlers have even been seen taking a bath in a very small tub. I mean, rub a dub dub, three dudes in a tub...disco nights must be a hit there. Guess we know what is getting taught at Penn State. Sure, they are great wrestlers but have any of you noticed that they are coming in a strong second place in the tan category? Heck, they might over take tO$U in more ways than one.

So Tom and the boys must continue to heed the lessons of Sensei Kreese...STRIKE FIRST! STRIKE HARD! SHOW NO MERCY! BTW, I am not the only one who thinks Karate Kid was a subversive piece of junk...there are others.

Too much Alcohol............

Alcoholics Anonymous is your friend................:)

Sorry bro...no alcohol...had to wake up at 0400. Just having fun with our supposed persona through a little satire and am a mere mortal and can't do it through emoji. I really was watching Karate Kid and he kept running off the mat and all of a sudden, the light bulb turned on.

I seriously thought this was going to be a thread about Bo Nickal.

Not chuckling anymore, but LMAO. This is one of the most embarrassing posts I've seen on this board.

Clearly chief has lost some of his faculties by hanging out on message boards 24/7. He needs an outdoor hobby.

Seek help, chief. Seek help.

Relax Chuckles...it's satire...kind of like your name. Just having a little fun with Iowa's bad guy image. Heck, I don't even think TR is a douche. But you're still my favorite clown.

I think one of Ralphy's follow up rolls shows an even softer side. As he takes on the infamous Jack Butler in " Crossroads" an amazing Devil went down to Georgia type tale where "cuttin' heads" was the way things got settled. I looking forward to the Hawkeyes cutting some heads at the Big10. Be nice to see Bo get a little trimmed off the top of that Howdy Doody do.

Well, sweep the leg is a legal move. And Laruso should have been dinged with a stall point in his first match. And, have you seen all them people run out onto the mat if someone gets hurt, but did so when Danielle does? Deduct team points for that also.

I started college in 1980 and following the Dead shortly after. Just who is this karate kid fellow?
