OT: Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz faces an unusual rival: his neighbors

Not to mention that it's a short dead end residential road so paving it would have no effect on traffic.
You can't really say that. Paving a road increases its allowable traffic load. Before the county will allow you to build higher density housing. I don't know it's the case, but if that guy wanted to subdivide and sell off a portion of his land for housing, the first step would have to be getting approval from the county for an increased traffic load.

Developers have been trying to widen, straighten, and pave roads out that way for almost 20 years so they can put in more houses.

Ferentz even showed up at county meetings in the past to oppose putting in more roads by his house and destroying the rural character.

Anyway, more traffic is obviously more dangerous for everyone. Especially kids on bikes.

-----I am sure what you are trying to say about your dislike for KF makes sense in your head, you just present it poorly.

Making 4 million + for years, with a .580 winning percentage says enough for me about qualifying to be fired.
And this issue has nothing to do with his win-loss record. If this was someone else without the name recognition you wouldn't even hear about it. But keep on using this as a lame excuse to bash Ferentz.

Why does it matter what he makes? If he made $1 would you still think he should be fired? I know you're just a troll, but I always love this argument when it comes up every other week.

As for kids riding bikes - I don't think the Buattis have kids that age. I checked and he is around 60 years old. Not likely to have a 5-12 year old kid in the house.

1. I would think there would be plenty of room for the neighbor kids to ride their bikes on their long asphalt driveways, or maybe they could just frolic in or around their beautiful swimming pools. But I grew up poor, so what do I know?
2. No one has ever aspired to live in Pheasant Ridge regardless of the monthly rent. If my dad had pulled strings to get me into those apartments, I would have asked him what I did to not deserve his love.
3. This sounds to me like a doctor who is pissed off because some guy that coaches a bunch of college kids to play a game makes more than he does, and therefore the world isn't fair.
4. They chose to live in the country. I've been on that road several times in the past few years, and it is in better than adequate condition relative to its proximity to city/county services. Suck it up.

I'm curious, why have you been on that road? It's less than a half mile long and a dead end.
