Tell you what there isn't a city in Iowa that has to offer what Omaha has to offer.SouthWest side of Omaha especially ...Go down town and see for your self.

Maybe some of you haven't been out of state much to figure it out.

Oh I've been to Omaha many times. My parents live in West Omaha near Village Pointe. I've done work with the Durham Museum downtown as well. Give me Iowa City all day, everyday, and twice on Saturdays.

All I was saying was I find it amusing that arguably Nebraska's best city is so close to Iowa, while arguably Iowa's worst is so close to Nebraska. It was a joke, chief. That is one thing about everyone I know from Omaha. They are quite touchy when it comes to people questioning how amazing their city is. It's hilarious. Quite the sensitive bunch.

You want to talk about living out of state little girl? Tell me your stories. I've lived in San Francisco, St Louuis, Washington DC, Boston, and the ever popular New York, New York.

Please tell me how Omaha in ANY way fits those categories. I mean seriously, St Louis, KC, Minneapolis, Chicago, Quad Cities, and even Des Moines are ALL superior to that POS you call a city.

I love it when Nebraskans go off about how awesome Omaha is. Okay, let's do the math here. The total population of Nebraska is about 1,880,000 or so. The total population for Omaha is about 440,000, give or take. Now if you add in the Council Bluffs part, which is IOWA btw Fuskers, it adds about 300,000 to the Omaha-Bluffs Metropolitan area. So basically, this big, lol, metropolis you speak of is half owned by Iowa. Doesn't that just suck? Now let's do more math.

If you add those number together you get an easy sum,....OMAHA and NEBRASKA TOALLY SUCK.

I mean seriously,.we outnumber you by at least 1.1 million or so.

Shut up, seriously, just shut up.

I personally like Omaha better than DSM but that is just me. It has a more historical feel to it for me. With that said, I think DSM has made enormous strides over the last 10 years and is shortening the gap for me.

Its one of the most boring cities I've ever seen. The old town area, is okay, but it feels superficial. The buildings there are boring, and it has no sense of culture. It's pure Nebraska boring through and through.

I agree, it's much better than the POS city of yours. You do realize this picture is Omaha? I can't be sure with you, as you are quite stupid. Did HTO hit you in the head with a baseball one too many times?

Your the one comparing Omaha to those cities not I. I said there isn't a city in Iowa that's better than Omaha. And how come your not living in those places now? Your jealousy of Nebraska is showing more than just the Rich History Football program that Nebraska has.

This argument is dumb. Really? Now we are ragging on Omaha?

Protip: Omaha kicks ass, aside from the old women who claim that the Huskers were going to beat my Hawkeyes while I was holding the door to a bank open for her.

Lucky she didnt need a hip replacement!

(That was sarcasm)

Omaha metro is about 900,000. 300,000 of that isn't Council Bluffs or Iowa not sure where you are getting that info. You can claim Counciltucky if you want , that place is a cesspool. Most of the excess population is in Sarpy county which can't be annexed and West O which isn't incorporated yet. I haven't spent a lot of time in Des Moines, but I really don't see how it could be considered some metropolitan utopia compared to Omaha.

I like how Omaha is developing parts of the city, but it is what it is, not really sure why there is so much hostility about it. Just because husker fans live there? Western Nebraska blows, I'm not gonna champion it just because it is full of husker fans. I would much rather have rural Iowa then rural Nebraska, because rural Nebraska is literally empty, Iowa at least has small communities. But urban wise I think Omaha-Lincoln has the edge there, especially since they are so close together. About 1.2 million people in a relatively small area.

Des Moines has a better downtown party atmosphere, way better bike trails, better golf, better disc golf, better restaurants, better lakes, and better people. Omaha has a better ghetto I guess.

Iowa has had and will have a much cleaner athletic dept. and programs with regard to NCAA rules.

The retarded Nebraska obessesion by [Iowa fans] on this board is only rivaled by the retarded obsession of [Nebraska fans] traveling to other boards.

It's a pretty interesting observation of derps on either side of the fanbases.

And yes, I clicked on it.

This had me at full LOL mode. You're at least good with your comedic timing, I'll give you that.

Yes, it's unfortunate that Nebraska has totally corrupted it with its evil stench.

If that's actually Aegon, and not some random dude off the net, I like the look. Very casual-cool. And you know, not in that gay sort of way. I love women and they seem to love me. At least so far.

Like the new look of this forum, too. Taking a little getting used to, but it has a bit more appealing layout.
