This makes no sense. His defense held the opposition to 45 points. Isn’t that pretty good in the big 12?
Meanwhile.... Mark Stoops putting together a pretty good year so far at Kentucky. The Wildcats are 5-1 with decisive wins over #25 Florida and #14 Mississippi State but lost in OT at Texas A&M on Saturday.
If Diaco is the successor I'm not so sure it wouldn't be a downgrade. If OU wants to win the whole thang they'll have to get somebody fresh out of a conference that actually plays defense each week.

Mark Stoops is a horrible coach. Hes been able to load up with 4 stars and he has a bunch of Seniors carrying the pail. Most UK fans will agree with me.
Well he had to get the 4* to show up. He made Kentucky football relevant.
This. He's winning at Kentucky. That's not exactly the sign of a "horrible" coach. Nick Saban wouldn't win like he does without elite players. He was nobody at Michigan State until he got some horses on the field.
I am surprised he has lasted this long. If his last name wasn't Stoops, he would have been gone a long time ago. I'm surprised Bobby hired him back....
It's amazing how many teams in the b12 lose conf games when they score more than 40 points.
Big 12 football to me is like the Hearns vs. Hagler fight. Come out swinging with everything you have. And keep doing it until one guy falls.
