Pitt leads ND early in the fourth, and Georgia is down 16-0 to LSU near the half.

And #24 Auburn--now 4-3--already lost, so they'll probably only move up two or three spots next week.

You can't upset teams if you miss field goals.

Also, technically I guess LSU beating Georiga is an upset, but losing to the #13 team at their place isn't really an upset in my book.

How about being shut out? #2 teams in the nation should never see a half of football without points on the board no matter where the game is being played.

I'll give you that much. I doubt that happens though. Scores like this one don't matter much until the second half and teams have a chance to make adjustments.

If Notre Dame doesn't lose a game then Ohio State is the only Big 10 team that can make the playoffs. Any other 1 loss Big 10 champ will get bumped by them.

Are there no really good teams outside of the sec?
I think OSU seems overrated, so does nd, so does tx etc.
I guess might as well put money down on bama right now :(

Looks like Georgia is going to notch a quality loss today. Shouldn’t hurt them in the long run ....
