Just like finding top high school players, teams and head coaches sometimes have to reach out and find the right coaches and transfers. It seems these two people have really helped Vandy.
I like what Lester is doing as we have our average to above average receivers getting open on crossing patterns, down and in routes, slants, and the 20 yarder to Gill over the middle a deep in type route looked great. We just need to say we need more faster, taller receivers.
And I think it might be good to get some deeper routes to the tight ends to stretch the defense. It seems lately the tight ends have been running a lot of shorter routes.
