Both of UCLA wins have come on the road. Now they're opening a lead @ Nebraska. Could there be a reverse home field effect here? The Rose Bowl is a terrible home field for them. Maybe they get more fired up on the road

Yeah, but that was a bowl game that we had several weeks to prepare. And we were facing a back up quarterback most of the game. USC had underachieved all season and didn’t really want to be playing bowl game two hours from campus.

It'll be nice when reality finally kicks in. Everything seems lined up for them this year in perhaps, one of the worst collectives of teams I've ever seen assembled for a "Power Conference". For real, the B12 had to be this bad for ISU to have a chance. KSU sucks, Utah sucks, BYU is mundane at best etc etc. The beat down they'll take as soon as they play somebody with a pulse will be fun. I fear they'll slip before that but watching their fans try to make a positive out of their ass kicking will be fun to watch.
I mean, they're barely skimping by terrible teams as it is but the narrative on local radio is that they're handling business somehow. I wouldn't call living on a razor thin line against 2 or 3 win teams "handling business". Once they lose, and they will soon, it'll be back to normal again. ISU is not only the most notable fake ID I can recall, they're still in diapers trying to buy alcohol.
Still can't believe KF lost to that pedestrian team but I'm not shocked I guess.
