Not going very well for the Cardinal. Wonder if they are still forfeiting 125.
They are still forfeiting 125. Also, Norman broke his nose pretty bad and hasn't competed since Jan 26. He was wearing a full face mask. Dominated Ogunsanya through the first 2 periods and then gassed real bad in the 3rd. Ogunsanya tied it at 12-12 with 28 seconds to go with is 3rd TD of the period. They went OOB and he gave Norman the escape point before the restart. Took him down again and rode him out for the last 15 seconds for the 15-13 win.

So a bracket buster guy that’s not in shape now but somebody will run into him r-12 on the backside when he’s coming into form.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 12 Iowa State (12-5, 6-2 Big 12) closed its regular season with a thrilling 21-18 victory over No. 25 Missouri (5-10, 4-4 Big 12) Saturday afternoon inside the Hearnes Center. The Cyclones took six of 10 bouts, including the first four of the dual, from the Tigers.
ISU jumped out to a 15-0 lead after four matches but Mizzou came roaring back by winning the next three, including two by fall, to tie the dual at 15-15 with three matches remaining. Evan Bockman and Nate Schon came through with pivotal wins at 184 and 197 pounds to clinch the dual for the Cyclones.
Garrett Grice was named the UFC Fight Pass Outstanding Wrestler after earning a crucial pin at 133 pounds.
Ethan Perryman got the Cyclones on the board first with a 7-4 decision over No. 32 Gage Walker at 125 pounds. Perryman tallied two takedowns in the win, his second dual victory of the season.
Grice got the nod for Iowa State at 133 pounds and came up with big bonus points when he pinned Kade Moore in 4:22. Grice controlled the entire match, notching two takedowns and four near fall points in the first period before securing the pin in the second.

At 141 pounds, No. 11 Jacob Frost earned a gutsy 9-8 decision over No. 16 Josh Edmond. Both wrestlers managed two takedowns in the match, but it was Frost's score with 0:47 remaining which proved to be the difference. Frost has now won 12 of his last 13 matches.
No. 7 Paniro Johnson made it four in a row for the Cyclones to open the dual with a tight 4-1 decision over Logan Gioffre at 149 pounds. Both wrestlers struggled to get to their offense but Johnson broke through with a blast double on the edge of the mat with 10 seconds left.
Missouri got on the board just before the intermission with a decision at 157 pounds. The Cyclones led 15-3 entering the break.
Back-to-back pins for the Tigers at 165 and 174 pounds tied the dual at 15-15 with three matches remaining but No. 10 Evan Bockmanstopped the bleeding with a 1-0 decision over No. 9 Colton Hawks at 184 pounds. Neither wrestler could muster a takedown, but Bockman earned an escape in the second period while Hawks chose neutral to begin the third.
Nate Schon clinched the dual for the Cyclones with a gritty 4-2 decision over Jesse Cassatt at 197 pounds. Schon got the only takedown of the match in the third period.
Missouri closed the dual with a decision at heavyweight when Seth Nitzel topped Daniel Herrera, 9-3.

He was wrecking everyone until 2 weeks ago. Something happened to him.
The level of competition might also be a factor.

Bartlett and Vombaer are also probably the best two guys Mendez has faced this season, along with Jamison, who Mendez beat 5-2 at Cliff Keen in December.

Looking at the brackets, Pac 10 really has nothing going. I thought Stanford was Pac 10.

Easy to lose track with conference realignment but Stanford is in the ACC now. Not much left of the P12 as they gather up some Mountain West schools, which won’t help wrestling much.

It looks like only 4 schools with Oregon St, Little Rock, CS Bakersfield and one other I cant even remember.

Pac12 should’ve just done a round robin. As it sits each wrestler gets 2 matches (3 if they wrestle in a true 2nd match). Could’ve just had 3 matches for everyone.

AJ beat Little 2-0 with an escape and riding time point to win the Pac12 title. He showed good sportsmanship and finished with the split.

Both Ferraris love that left hand sweep single

Koderhandt with the cement mixer fall in the EIWA finals. He will be one to watch at NCAAs. Looked really good at Soldier Salute as well.

Not something you see very often. In the MAC, CMU lost 6 Finals matches in a row!
