That didn't take longNLwC with 8 of the 12 finalists. We’re so far behind, we’re not even in the same stratosphere.
The trials are to select the US Olympic team. Quit acting like it's just another IA/ PSU dual, whiner.NLwC with 8 of the 12 finalists. We’re so far behind, we’re not even in the same stratosphere.
Wish they would show the replay because yeah, that looked like 4 to methat looked like 4. this pace is a problem.
What a match up! So good. But think gilman got ****ed. Started in bounds and still inbounds when landed. Man are they close to each other. Coupd watch those two all dayBeautiful scoring sequence by Lee. He got a little sloppy late and nearly gave up a 4 point feet to back but video confirmed TD only.
Barely able to breathe the entire match here...too stressful!!!
His single to what would be Gilmans lead leg used to be much better. Haven't seen the same pop on it since his surgeries though. Hoping he progresses match over match with his attacks similar to yesterdayfirst match thoughts:
gilman might be the only guy in the world as strong as spencer. moved him significantly with his hands and spencer was pretty worn down late. review might have saved him.
the left leg lead of gilman keeps spencer off his best attack. he’ll need to get things done with his single.
good start. really need to get it done in match 2. gilman in a third match on full feed is scary.
YesLooks like the Finals will stay on mat 2? Can anyone confirm?
Yep, if you get pushed out and are grounded, both knees down, no push out point. It may be more technical than this?Wrestled plenty but played baseball (among other things) in the summer. So, admittedly I’m no freestyle expert. It would seem, to avoid giving up step out, it’s common for wrestlers to flatten their toes, so they simply get pushed OB for a restart. Don’t really care for it. Am I off base here?

Yes, you're seeing it a lot more, especially late in matches to protect a lead. Play the edge and then ground yourself before a pushout can occur. In folkstyle we refer to it as stalling.Wrestled plenty but played baseball (among other things) in the summer. So, admittedly I’m no freestyle expert. Im so confused. I thought they weren’t wrestling the qualifier weights until tonight’s session?!
Gonna be awhile for the next one.
I was pleased with it. Gilman is stingy and he found a way to get the score and combination. The high crotch/firemans isn't going to be available against Gilman. His single to what would be Gilmans lead leg used to be much better. Haven't seen the same pop on it since his surgeries though.
