Yep a bit concerning. Always a catch to nice things for us it seems..
When he gets injured again next season:
That's funny as hellWhen he gets injured again next season:
1.25 million or so.....This is an unmitigated disaster.
Very interested to see if Sully sticks around after spring ball. I hope so.Unbelievable. But Brendan Sullivan will be a very good QB1 with Brown from Auburn his backup. Sully has learned a lot from this year and has the talent to continue to improve. I would be happy to have Sully as the starter.
Why is there always a catch on nice things for us?!It’s like buying a lottery ticket, we got a dopamine rush for 2 days thinking about what could happen next season…. Then reality hits that we made the same mistake, again.
Ugggggh.
Sports hernia? KF calling it a very common football injury? Trying to brainstorm what we are dealing with.Ugggggh.
Please God don't let this be McNamara, part deux.
They definitely knew about this IMO. Part of the deal. Maybe turned others off? Who knows. Just odd and unexpected timing.I think Iowa needs to do like baseball and have the pending physical clause for all portal QBs from now on. This is not even comical at this point .
I can't believe Iowa wouldn't know this was part of the deal. It would be insane if they didn't.I know there are HIPPA restrictions......but if you are getting paid to play......there needs to be full disclosure or forfeiture of money
Hippa laws only apply to people who work in the health industry and health insurance industry.I know there are HIPPA restrictions......but if you are getting paid to play......there needs to be full disclosure or forfeiture of money
My guess is a sports hernia based on KF comments. Not remotely the same as McNamara's surgery.
Gronowski played through his all last season and was still running between the tackles and through defenders. It's a routine surgery that will only take a few months to recover fully from.
I'd like him to have the spring too but he's still easily the better option than Sullivan.
This was true maybe 10-15 years ago, but these days with proper rehab guys get back to the same as before on an ACL all the time. The dude tore his ACL in year 1 or 2 I can't remember. I have quite a bit of experience with ACL injuries and rehab and the bottom line is......I've never had a person with an ACL rupture and repair tell me their knee was ever the same again. I have no idea what his injury is, ACL tear leads to a knee never being the same.
I highly doubt it but yeah, this sucks regardless.I just hope and pray this "common football injury" has nothing to do with his knees.
I could swear I told you lads to bookmark: Cade II Only Iowa.....
Like clockwork @InsaneHawkJJP whacko Fran changed a thread he had and is trying to bump by thread about our QB needing surgery. Psycho alert
This is Iowa. You should be used to it by now.Seriously....what t f is going on
It was public Knowledge he had a major Knee injury at SD state. We knew we were getting damaged goods. Why is there always a catch on nice things for us?!
