It’s a shoulder. Not sure if it’s his throwing one or non-throwing. Routine surgery, but shoulders always take awhile. Iowa knew about it which is why it took a few extra days….team docs looked at it pretty close. They’re confident will be fully recovered by June. Just sucks to not have our supposed QB1 available for spring workouts to work on timing with backs and receivers.

Having pitched in College when it comes to throwing there is no minor shoulder surgeries, this is as opposed to good totally not , It takes usually a Year or more to get even close to the velocity back after any shoulder surgery .

Not many...shoulder injuries involving labrum or rotator cuff are usually worse than TJ injuries in terms of coming back to the same level.

I know , He has not even had the surgery yet and Iowa plays Aug 30th Sep 6 at the Clones, Sounds from the articles He gets the knife late January , if it is the throwing shoulder i do not see any way He spins it like pre injury by August and He is missing the reps in a new system with all new receivers and language , This is a freaking nightmare, I will go on record now and say Sulli or Brown will be starting against Albany
