You can only sell PT and opportunity for so long, yet NIL has now fully entered the fray. This passing game crap ends this fall with a real QB and receiving core. Former WR Coach Copeland had some dumb quote about 3 years to the effect of "if you are a WR, Iowa really isn't the place for you," ...nicely done Coach!

I can't believe how many unbelievable stats I've seen that demonstrate just how God-awful the Iowa offense, particularly the passing game, became under BF's last 3 years at the helm. Unreal how many apologists remain who defend BF's performance and KF's decision to keep him on as long as he did.

There were 125 offensive players this past season alone that had over 50 catches. That's 125 OVER 50.

Since I can remember what WRs have we put in the NFL? Early. Dwight. Hughes. Gibson. I think there was a guy in the 1970s. It’s incredible. Truly incredible.

A big pass game has rarely been a focus of Iowa’s offense, but it’s been serviceable as a complement to a typically strong running game for the most part until the post-Stanley era. BF & his collection of clown QB’s sent the offense, and particularly the pass game, to doldrums never seen before, all enabled by KF.
