One of my all-time favorite movies. I looooved it as a kid and still love watching it to this day. I don't think it was nominated for any awards but incluenced other prison escape movies after

It's a new movie, but @FAUlty Gator, have you seen 'Nowhere' yet? It's about a couple trying to immigrate to a new country by hiding in a shipping container, which during a storm falls overboard in the middle of the ocean. On Netflix.

The late 70's and early 80's movies were the best if you were a teen. Animal House, Porky's, Fast Times, etc. No, they weren't cinematic masterpieces but they were fun.
