Well they obviously thought they saw enough to overturn the call. Get over it.Saying "maybe", "I think" or "I thought" isn't enough to overturn the call.

And b/c of the (guess) call, Stanley doesn't tie Long for the Iowa TD record, right?
They can't leave cameras on the goal line all game. That play started at like the 30 yard line.
I was quite surprised that the announcers didn't say anything about that play. It looked pretty obvious to me.I think the worse officiating error was the missed block in the back on a huge BC gain.

That was right at the los, too. Should have been a no gainer. Hardly anyone around them, too, an easy call.If we're thinking of the same play, it was Gervase that got shoved. He would have had the BC ball carrier stopped and it wouldn't gave been necessary for Hooker to run him down 30-40 yards later.

Thats the crux of the whole thing right there. I'm not sure it was a touchdown either, but the key should be that it was called a TD on the field. Barring better evidence,(which they didn't have), that play should have stood as called.Saying "maybe", "I think" or "I thought" isn't enough to overturn the call.
You could make the case that his elbow hit first, and then an instant later the ball/hand hit the pylon. So they must have surmised that the ball was short when the elbow hit.
