Packers\Vikings ?

Hyde just made an unbelievable interception. I'm sure it will be on youtube shortly.

Imagine if Hyde and King played together. Lowrey and King were pretty good, King and Hyde might outcatch the other team.

I think ( hope ) the Packers threw the game so they can open in Washington against the Washington Red Inks. ( the PC version of the Redskins )
Nope. Unfortunately the Packers are not a good football team.....for a myriad of reasons. The Redskins are going to scalp them.

If I was Minnesota I think I would have preferred to lose last night. I think is rather go back to GB than play Seattle at home.

Typical classless GB fan. First they can't they admit they were beaten on the field fair and square next they go for attacks having nothing to do with the game. I know a few good GB fans but most are dirt bags who can't handle losing.
I really don't know how you equate this to what he said. No one complained about not getting beat fair and square, he said Minnesota is tougher when AP (a child beater) suits up. Is he wrong on any account?

Not any more wrong than saying the Packers were better when Najeh was hiding in closets pooping and Mark Chmura was being a pedophile.

I also find it funny that Mike Neal refused to comment about the allegations of Packers players including Mike Daniels getting PEDs supplied. Jarrett Bush and Neal have already been busted recently.

I am honestly not invested enough in Pro Football to troll anyone. I was just thinking that as a Packer fan I could see going to Washington before playing the Vikings again. In reality it was a backhanded compliment.

BTW Chmura was found not guilty of all charges, while AP agreed to a plea deal, not wanting to face a trial. AP's 2 year old son died after abuse by the wife's boy friend.

Meh no point in playing the same team 3 times in one season. Not to mention now Green Bay and their fans can't take any kind of solace in their season over Minnesota's. Vikings are division Champs and more than likely Green Bay will not advance any farther than the divisional round anyway. So there's nothing they can hold over the Vikings' heads.

I'll take that and Seattle in the Wild Card every single time.

poor james vander wulf, digging real deep to attack the vikings personally after Minnesota was crowned division champs at Lambeu field, Ive said it before and I will say it again, the packer fanbase is the most annoying sore losers in the entire NFL and it isnt even close. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!

one more thing james, if you are deeply offended by nfl athletes behavior off the field and their wrap sheets, then you better find another sport to watch, Maybe lacrosse or tennis?

The Packers lost to all 3 Division Foes at Home. That is why the Minnesota Vikings are the 2015 Division Champs.

I also expect the Packers to win the Division when Jordy Nelson returns and if he stays healthy next year. He is an outstanding player and he'll make a BIG difference if in the lineup. They'll still need a healthy and/or better Offensive Line, but the Vikings played all year without 2 starters on their Offensive Line as well so..........................

If you meant " rap sheet ", then no I'm not offended. I expect criminal behavior from pro players. If you meant " wrap sheet " then I'd be offended that these guys think they're too good to wrap their own Christmas presents.

Championships before Super Bowl I don't mean much when there were like 12 teams in the league.

The Viqueens were one of the 14 since 1961, so the Pack have 7 WC's while going head to head in the same division. I guess the other 6 WC could be considered a bonus. Meanwhile the Dycheings have scored a grand total of 34 points combined in their 4 Super Bowl losses.

Do World Series baseball titles before divisional play still count? Yankees need to know.

Typically when you directly compare two items you use the same denominator. So if you're comparing the Yankees to say the Rockies you don't look at time that fell outside of a direct comparison.

The Fudge Packers were largely the laughing stock of the NFL throughout the seventies and eighties. They were fortunate enough to hit on Favre and Rodgers. Rogers is fading now and Green Bay is worthless without him as we witnessed when they've used their backups. Teams recently have also figured out how to play Rodgers and he has been very mediocre in the 2nd half. The Vikings like other teams that have been successful against him have learned if you press the receivers Rodgers is terrible. That was the stark contrast between the first and second game where the Vikings altered their defense to play a press two deep safety.

Congratulations on you WW2 super bowls although I doubt you were there to witness. Too bad the future doesn't look too bright with a lot of aging players.

Sorry about your apparent Minnesota public education, but WWII was not fought from 1960 -1967. On the bright side Minnesota's total embarrassment in Super Bowl IV, forced the league to merge with the AFL, diluting the talent level in the league to the point where the Queens got to play in 3 more SB's though being totally destroyed in all three. Enjoy your subzero playoff game Sunday. I'm glad the Pack played it the way they did. DC will be much more hospitable to Roger's passing game.

Facts can be you friends if you happen to know them, which apparently you're not too familiar with. Vikings are older than the Packers. Packers trending younger, Vikings trending older.

As a neutral observer, I think the Packers have a better chance of beating Washington than the Vikings have of beating Seattle.

As someone else stated... neither team likely wins more than one game in the post season

Nice gross stats but it helps to put those into context:

Look at the Vikings star players. They are predominantly young players.

Anthony Barr: 23 (PFF's #1 4/3 OLB)
Harrison Smith : 26 (PFF's #2 Safety)
Everson Griffen: 28 (team sack leader)
Stefon Diggs: 22 (team leading receiver as rookie)
Eric Kendricks: 23 (leading tackler as a rookie)
Teddy Bridgewater: 23
Linval Joseph: 27 (PFF's #4 DT)
Shariff Floyd: 24
Xavier Rhodes: 24

The only players considered a star over the age of 28 for the Vikings would be Peterson (30) and Berger (33).

GB star players over 30 to start next season:

Peppers: 35
Matthews: 29
Sitton: 29
Rodgers: 32
Nelson (IR): 30

Throwing out gross stats doesn't mean much when it's inflated by part-time players like Greenway and backup QBs like Shaun Hill. Green Bay has more key players over the age of 28.

Packers typically stay a very young team. That will continue with our GM. Not worried about Rodgers being 32 and I would guess Peppers plays one, maybe two more years.
I said in another thread I did not see GB beating Minnesota this past weekend. I was also not terribly upset by it because I did not want to see Minnesota again if we WOULD have beat them. As it turns out, for at least one game, Green Bay has a better draw. I DO see GB getting by Washington. I do not see Minnesota beating Seattle. But , being a realist that will be the end of the road for my Packers. Just hope Seattle does not go to the SB.

So Rodgers has a down year, due to receivers who can't get separation, a line that can't block, and a mediocre running game, and all of a sudden he's "fading?"

He averaged 6.68 y/a this year, least of all starters aside from Colin Kaepernick (who got benched during the year), and even less than weak-armed Peyton Manning due to inability for receivers to separate and having to check down often.

It's easy to "press receivers" when none of said receivers have the ability to beat you deep or make a play downfield. Getting a player like Jordy Nelson back will do wonders for the offense.

If you want to borrow one of our 4 SB trophies to look at for awhile let me know. Even the one we won just a few years ago. I would like to see your participation ribbons. I bet they are sweet.

Btw it has to suck knowing you had the best RB in football and he won't ever go to a SB. Shame

Greenway part time? No.

You must watch a lot of Vikings games. Of course Greenway is a part time player. He comes off the field every time they are in a nickle and dime formation.

He played 28 snaps last week. Barr and Kendricks played 76 and 79 snaps.

Barr, the other OLB, who missed 2 games, played 841 snaps this season. Greenway who played in all 16 games, including filling in for Barr while he was out, played 641 snaps.

Their nickle corner, Munnerlyn (724 snaps), has played more this season than Greenway.

So explain to me how that's not part time. This ought to be good.

According to Obama's Affordable Care Act, a full time worker is anyone who works 30 hours or more in a 7 day calendar week. I would have to assume that with all the practice, video, workouts, team meetings, etc, etc. that he would get that and more. I didn't count his snaps but he is second on the team in tackles somehow. Your other " star " Adrian Peterson like you said will be 30 this year, he's as important as Rogers evidently.

This year with AP = 11 - 5. Last year without AP 7 - 9.
