Did the same thing towards the end of the regular season last year. That’s why I didn’t get the hype it got to start the year this year.

Edit: although the defense has only given up 20 points and were put in a shitty situation before half where they gave up a touchdown. I think the bigger problem is how terrible Darnold has been the last couple of weeks.

Defense needs talent. Flores does a great job of covering up the lack of talent until they face good QBs and coaches.

Vikings need OL and DB help.

Live in the Twin Cities and my son loves football. I was sure as hell not going to make him a Bears fan like myself. I tried steering him away from the Vikings too. I told him just be a fan of the game and don’t pick a team a couple years ago. He didn’t listen to me and started going all in on the Vikings after we went to a game a couple years ago. That was one of their good regular seasons when he says they’ve got a good shot at winning the Super Bowl. I told him he really doesn’t know the Vikings. Guess who was correct.

Today he’s backed off of them quite a bit and mostly just roots for teams with Iowa guys playing big roles. He also roots against the Chiefs because he has some friends that are bandwagon jumpers that are annoying.

Nothing really wrong with the Vikings other than they play in the Bears division and they'll never win a super bowl, ever. Had a roommate from Minnesota during the culpepper/moss years so that was unbearable. His trash talking is why the vikes are doomed. Lol.

What you described is exactly why I tried to steer him away. They have so many great regular seasons that just collapse in the playoffs. At least last night didn’t end on another missed field goal.
