Another know it all. On B1G and beyond today he was a bit hard on the Hawks. Gave props to Baylor for beating K-State yet downplayed Iowa's win over Indiana and at one point stated we were losing in that game. I'm guessing he never even watched the game. Seems like he loves him some Big12.

He said we were down 17-14, which is true. But then went on to say we were down 21-20 in the second balf, which is false. And worse yet, none of the BTN guys corrected him.

He doesn't like ferentz. I emailed him once and corrected him on a number of things he misspoke about regarding Ferentz in an article. He actually replied to me and thanked me for the information. In a roundabout way he told me that it doesn't change his feelings about Ferentz though and that he didn't feel the need to modify his article.

We can just use KF as a barometer for bad sports media. If he refuses to talk to you, it's a pretty good sign you are a tool: see Jim Rome, Pat Forde, Gregg Doyel, and Colin Cowherd.

That aside, I would think that BTN could do better than him. I just don't get it. I would think that being a reporter/analyst on a major station is an extremely competitive field; so how is it that we end up with so many clowns that we're forced to watch?

A lot of people on this site didn't like Ferentz last year. BUT WE LOVE HIM NOW!!!!!!

I agree.....I just don't get how some of these guys have jobs with the lack os simple homework they do on teams and knowing the realities on SOS, who beat who, etc. It really amazes me. I can't remember who it was but like many others had Baylor in their top 4. THEN after seeing a side by side comparison of Baylor's SOS and ours and our top 25 wins, the person was asked who should be higher, and he said Iowa. So either people are not doing their homework or they are just deliberately tilting the field to who THEY want to see in the final 4. So damn stupid. I also mentioned on another post that Finebaum goes off on Iowa being 5, and then says we will lose one of the next 3 games. Ok Paul so since we are going to lose why are you going off in the first place. I don't even get angry now, I just laugh when THEY say the committee is inconsistent and THEY don't even know what they are looking at. Put it this way, the committee may not be perfect but based on what we have heard the last two weeks, I am not sure Iowa would be in the top 10 right now if it were left in the hands of the sportswriters and columnists.
