I will say that officiating has not been kind to women's or mens late in games lately. The absurd "out of bounds" replay reversal for the women, now the men get two late contests on Minnesota drives that looked clean called fouls. Payton also says he was fouled a few times on his 3 pointers and I believe that.

There was also a play where Owen pump faked and a Minny defender bit hard, came flying in and hit his body on the way up, but it wasn't called and the other Minny player blocked Owen because of it.

We’ve all watched enough B1G games to know who the home team is and who’s on the road. Seems lately games in Iowa City are pretty hard to tell. Iowa got called for three hand checks in the first half. Minnesota got called for one in the final minute of the game when they were grabbing and reaching all night. They were bailed out deep in the shot clock at least three times. One was legit while a few would never be gifted to a road team anywhere else in the B1G.

But, I’m not blaming the refs one bit. Iowa lost this one all on their own. 100% of this loss falls on the entire Iowa team from the top down.
