At least he is now. Annoucement on FLO. A long way off. Adam Busiello, the #1 106 pounder in the country and the #2 in the class of 2019.

pretty sure he is calling all of his contacts in new york right now to determine his opinion. Won't take long, since no one on his own board will talk to him.Intermat says he projects to be a 141 lber. 4 years from now. Can 21guns confirm this?
Agree 100%. He will barely know who that 106 pounder was who made that commitment for him. This is crazy. 2019? This kid is so young he has no clue what he will want by his senior year. I honestly thought Teasdale's commitment was borderline too early(although I was happy for Iowa) but this is getting out of hand.
Hard to imagine why these kids would want to commit this early. They can't even talk scholly info at this point so the athlete is at a real disadvantage IMO. I guess it gets them on the radar, but takes away a lot of the leverage they may have in the future.
I highly doubt that I've always expected he'll be a career 125 but I guess we shall see. Wouldn't be the first time they got a projection wrong. Makes sense he'd do an early commitment with many others doing this now, he's been dead set on them for over a yearIntermat says he projects to be a 141 lber. 4 years from now. I don't think there is anything wrong with it if that's what they want to do, but when they commit that early they are discouraging other schools from recruiting them, so if they end up not being that Top 25 kind of kid and maybe only a top 100 kid, they may miss out on a better financial deal with a different school. On the flip side, if they end up being a Top 25 kid, the school they are committing to has the leverage to offer them a lesser amount because they know the kid is committed. And since they are committing before finances can be discussed, it puts them in a hole out of the gate.I don't think there is anything wrong with it. We have benefited and it's not like they can't change their mind or go see other schools.

He made it pretty clear that Dunk and I are the owners of BWI. So you're saying he owns some other board, and nobody there will talk to him?pretty sure he is calling all of his contacts in new york right now to determine his opinion. Won't take long, since no one on his own board will talk to him.
^ this 100%. If I were the parents of these kids there is no way I would let my kid commit before they were able to be offered scholarships. If you're one of the top recruits you can easily get a full ride scholarship if you're willing to shop around at different schools.
He certainly tries to own BWI. Of course, in my limited experience, he is a pissant that nobody (except his many imaginary friends that must pm support, because they certainly show it no other way) except Amalone will talk to. But that's his own fault, I don't blame the rest of you!He made it pretty clear that Dunk and I are the owners of BWI. So you're saying he owns some other board, and nobody there will talk to him?
If so Cael will reinstate 118......FACT!Meh - I heard he is done growing already and will be way to small to even compete as a 125 at the D1 level.......FACT!!!!
Money isn't everything. Why go somewhere else to save 50-100k when you have the chance to follow your dream at the school you love? I understand going for the full ride. I also understand and respect the kids who will walk on or take less money to compete at the school they love. It's only 4-5 years of your life so go wherever makes you happy and worry about paying those loans when you are done competing.^ this 100%. Loans? What's a loan when you have the N_ _ _?Money isn't everything. Why go somewhere else to save 50-100k when you have the chance to follow your dream at the school you love? What are your dreams worth? I am not saying either side of this argument is right or wrong either. Just that a lot of people would rather pay extra and live out their dream. Plus some families can afford to pay the tuition. Especially those with front row seats to the Big Ten wrestling tournaments***
*** just a joke
Or, maybe he'll remember what happened with early commit Megaludis.I kind of like it nothing wrong with flying your colors, it's not like it's a binding contract.if he is good enough he will get his money.just hope he remembers what happened with haines.
Agree. It's like when I see big time college football programs going after 8th graders. There are many, many changes that take place in your life when you are in 8th or 9th grade ... Recruiting, in general for all sports, is pretty out of hand. Kids committing, de-committing ... committing but then still telling the world they are open to other schools. And verbals mean little nowadays because it absolutely doesn't stop other coaches from acting like piranhas. Recruiting is a crazy world. This is crazy. 2019? Psu**In general, I'm not a big fan of early commitments however Haines also gave a verbal to tOSU just few months before signing day and that didn't work out either.
We'd all hope that. The key is he doesn't want that.As of last year, my 14 year old wanted to create video games when he grew up. This year he wants to be a rock star when he grows up. I just hope he doesn't end up being a fry cook when he grows up.
