How do you consume your protein

Sometimes I mix it with a small amount of milk and freeze it and have bad iced cream that is protein heavy.

I'm asking because I made a comment about a specific protein supplement being tolerable in ice water, and some twat responded with this as if he's the only person on reddit:

Then it got me thinking... am I in the minority with drinking it with cold water even though its in the directions?

I mix mine usually with water from the fridge, sometimes I use almond milk, sometimes skim milk, usually water…
 
Mostly food(eggs, chicken, lean beef and pork, fish, yogurt) but supplement with a couple shakes a day. Average 225 grams
i suppose what i meant is how do you consume your supplements. Just water, milk, mix it with yogurt, snort it like adderal?

Milk. It's like making hot cocoa. You always use milk.
Milk is way too calorie dense to add to my shakes. Currently I'm aiming for around 1950 calories per day, and 8oz of milk + 1 scoop of protein is about 210 calories right there. I do about 16 ounces of cold water and 1 scoop of protein, so about 90 calories with my breakfast.

I've tried water. It doesn't taste nearly as good. I've made my peace with being a few pounds overweight if it means I can still workout the way I want to.

i love straight cold water. I don't need this to be a tasty treat; I put it down in like 10 seconds. The vanilla powder I use tastes fine, but I just love that cold shot to the gut in the morning.
 
Not much into calorie intake as I am with the protein carb fat numbers. I have a physical job hence the reason the calorie number doesn’t bother me as much as carb and fat intake numbers are
 
Cold tap water and powder in the vitamix, then chug it. Depending on what else I'm eating that day, usually 2-3 protein shakes. I shoot for 175g daily.

I stopped doing protein supplements a few years ago. But I used to swear by mixing a vanilla flavored protein powder with ice and coffee with just enough water to top off the shaker bottle. Tasted very similar to a Frappuccino. Got my daily caffeine hit, protein and calories. It was my go-to breakfast in my lifting days.

So yeah, give it to me ice cold.
 
I have relation that spend ungodly amounts of money on protein supplements. It's like religion. I guess it it's can't anything but your pocketbook.

Eat properly and avoid the scam. Use the money saved to buy, hats!
 
I've been lifting for a while and tried different protein supplements—some upset my stomach or had weird aftertastes. I recently came across Biaxol.co.uk through a buddy who's into fitness too, and their stuff has been working well for me so far. Clean mix, no bloat, and I actually feel like I’m recovering better after workouts. Thought I’d throw it out there in case anyone’s still mixing things up.

Every morning mix 1-2 scoops of protein powder, dump in any leftover cofeee I haven’t finished, water, ice.

Used to use milk which tasted so much better but I realized calories wise it didn’t make a whole lot of sense, so switched to water.

Still kinda fat tho 😀
