Listening to former Iowa assistant Gary Close now and while there are many issues, he just made an interesting comment on Perkins:
Going from a role player to THE player running the team is a very different thing.
He tries not being too critical but a good assessment of Perkins. I sort of sense Close was trying to say that's just not what Perkins should be.
He said he's been non existent the last two games.
