Peter Jok

Right now he's 1st team B1G. He can't guard him when he's driving and hit those 12 footers.

Can he keep it up?

Pete is a much more naturally aggressive scorer than JU. He will definitely be THE LEADER next year.

Uhl looked bad tonight. Strange to say but I think his game is suffering from Jones' injury. Fran has fewer options to put on the floor when he's taking time off in games.

Uhl had a couple nice drives. He has very stiff hips and really struggles trying to slip through traffic.

He's really developed his game to have more facets on both ends. Always loved his ability to shoot it and he does not lack for confidence which I like. I think almost every jumper he takes is going in.

IMO Uhl has really become a much better player this season, but for the game I think the announcers nailed it. Uhl played his HS BBall in NJ, and he may have had friends or coaches in the stands. I thought he was off tonight.

When Pete sets his feet, he is a deadly shooter. He still is not very consistent finishing near the rim, but at least he isn't turning it over, like past years. Pete's defense has improved dramatically, but tonight wasn't his best defensive effort. There were several lapses, but 29 points more than makes up for that. I doubt that Pete will be first-team all-B1G, but he has a great shot at getting second or third team, if the Hawks keep winning.

"Peter is shooting the ball much better this year than he did the previous two when he couldn't throw it in the ocean." - Adam Amin

Next year, if he is featured and sets run for him; he may average well over 20

Petes about a year ahead of where I thought he would based on last year.

I knew Uthoff was going to be a first team all conference guy but now we have two guys playing at that level and its really making this team hard to guard. Ive never seen an Iowa team that scores as easy.

They're already running allot of sets for him though, almost as many as Uthoff.

Hes benefiting from being on a team of good passers that have played together for along time and have great chemistry as well as not being the #1 focus of the defense.

Next year Pete will average more points but probably will have to take allot more shots and may not be as efficient.

Agree. He is shooting 64 percent in the paint which is good.

This. Everything that Uhl did wrong can be directly attributed to too much adrenaline. He is a sophomore who is really in his fist year of playing any significant minutes. He is always so cool and calm in Carver that what we saw yesterday seemed like another player, or more like a freshman Dom. He'll get better and learn to channel that energy.

Petes the second best player on Iowa

Agree that he's currently the 2nd best player. However, Peter Jok's emergence on the DEFENSIVE side of the ball has been most impressive to me, this year. I knew he could shoot and so should anyone who watched him, before this year. But now, he gets into passing lanes and gets a steal and a breakaway, every game. Great stuff

This is a kid that was the number one recruit in the country until he blew out his knee.

It seemed to me it took all the way through his freshman year to get comfortable on that leg again. Which was two plus years after surgery.

Then last year you really started to see progression in his game but it was in spurts.

Now he seems to be becoming the player Fran hoped he could be potential wise.
