The Honda Classic a Nicklaus design with infamous last 4 holes nicknamed "the Bear Trap."
one of the first groups shown today were playing the par 3, 15th hole. Smiley Kaufman knocks his shot into the water...the camera gets back to the tee just in time to see Kaufman snap his iron over his knee...... his playing partner, an Irishman named Shane Lowery then he hits his tee ball into the water, too. Upon contact and initial observation, you can clearly hear Shane say, "Oh folk" or some such thing....this was quickly followed by the announcer apologizing for Shane's comment.
I really like the gut reactions of these players.....I have similar reactions hitting bad shots myself. However, it has been decades since I broke a club, but the last time I did, it was over my knee. These guys like Kaufman and Lowery are playing to make ends meet and occassionally they feel the pressure.
