You better do a little more research. You are playing Russian roulette if you are a pitbull owner; but playing it with someone else's life. The numbers have been posted in these pitbull threads many times. Deaths caused by pitbulls far outweigh all other breeds combined. Constantly you will hear family members or neighbors saying that they can't believe that dog killed someone and that for years how loving it was and gentle with kids, ect ect. But, these dogs have a very short fuse and it gets even shorter as they get older. If something sets it off it is a horrible situation. These dogs have jumped through front picture windows on houses to attack someone just walking by the house on the sidewalk.

Pitbulls are a breed that man created and we need to correct this mistake by getting rid of all pitbulls.

I once pulled two pitbulls of some random dog in a park in Houston. One of the dogs got a beast mode punt. Looking back I should have turned 360 degrees and walked away. There was blood everywhere (in part due to me unlatching the pits), and I'm pretty sure the pit owners were getting off on it. They all quickly ran off, and the other dog I think got put down.

Your graph proves nothing. There are thousands and thousands of pit bulls in the United States. A couple dozen fatalities isn't proving that most pit bulls bite humans.

I doubt you have been around pit bulls raised by good owners. You are totally ignorant on the subject.

I have been involved in the insurance business for 25 years and am pretty confident that I am way more familiar with pitbull attacks than most and I am guessing that includes you. I saw the cases and the reports handled by the national company that I worked for and the statistics for dog bites, maulings, and deaths that happened in the U.S. for the past 20 years dissected by about any angle you want to look at it. True, the graph I posted was only for fatalities for 2014. I just don't want to spend the time right now to pull up info for you; but it is not hard to find. I may be totally ignorant on many topics but this certainly isn't one of them. Just do a little research.

I saw the cases and the reports handled by the national company that I worked for and the statistics for dog bites, maulings, and deaths that happened in the U.S. for the past 20 years dissected by about any angle you want to look at it. True, the graph I posted was only for fatalities for 2014. I just don't want to spend the time right now to pull up info for you; but it is not hard to find. I may be totally ignorant on many topics but this certainly isn't one of them. Just do a little research.

Nonsense. Breeds are predisposed to behaviors. There's no denying that. The pitbull breed is an asskicker from birth. It's kinda like the force. You don't know you have it until shit goes down. By then with pitbulls, it's too late. Someone usually dies.

You know you're really confusing here. When it comes to guns, inanimate objects incapable of thought or movement on there own, you blame the gun. When it comes to pitbulls, a living being capable of thought and emotion, you blame the owner.

I don't recall "blaming" the gun. I just stated the fact that gun ownership makes gun owners more likely to get shot.

Guns and Pitbulls are two entirely different subjects. Both can be very dangerous in the wrong hands.

Most dangerous Pitbulls are that way because of bad owners. That's been my experience.
