Kind of forgot about them but beating Duke and with two very winnable games down the stretch they are looking like a 9-3 team. With either NW or Wisky maybe falling out of the top 25 due to head to head meeting, Pitt being back in certainly does not hurt. (helps ND though as well)

Maybe if the NW/Wisky game comes down to a FG we end up with all 3 in the top 25.

Even though NW is ranked higher, Wisconsin beating them in Madison wouldn't be an upset or surprise to anyone. And I think NW would stay in the top 25 ... unless of course Wisconsin wins by 2 TDs or more.

I agree too. I think a Wisconsin win is better overall. That gives them a quality win, which they are currently lacking, and Northwestern can still finish 9-3 with their win against Stanford keeping them in the 20-25 range by the time of the final rankings.

For Iowa, that could give us wins over 10-2 Wisconsin and 9-3 Northwestern, plus the possibility of a 9-3 Pitt (as mentioned above). This would look very good to most pollsters and committee members.

I don't think it really matters anymore. Win out, regardless of opponents and we'll be in. I also don't think it matters much whether you are the 3 or the 4 seed. Every team is beatable.

Whichever team loses between Wiscy and JNW, will drop out of the top 25. For sure in the coaches poll and likely in the AP poll. Having that many B1G teams ranked hurts the SEC and the media narrative.

I would prefer NW wins because they could be a top 12-15 ranked team if that happens. I think it's better for our resume to have one top 15 win as opposed to two top 25 wins.
