Any idea how many tickets each player gets? Do they get "x" free and access to "y" to purchase? Who sets the limit? NCAA? IOWA? Rose Bowl?

I think it changes year to year as well as maybe even where you are at in the program. I few years back I had a cousin on the team. It always seemed he had a different amount of tickets for every bowl game.

usually 2...my god son played d-1...do not get a ticket you get a receipt(with seat assignment) when you sign in..(name on a list)

Each player gets 6 free tickets, with no option to purchase more. I assume this is per NCAA mandate, but am not certain.

This was also the case for the B1G championship, and the Taxslayer bowl in Jan.

If you are one of those lucky relatives to get one of those
6 free tickets, then you might also get on the players' family
charter flight to the Rose Bowl. For a fair price you pay for
the plane ride, the motel, the parade ticket, and the game
charter bus, etc. If you have a relative on the team, then
you have been blessed.

"Player's family charter"? Never heard of it. My kid is on the team. Please provide a link or a source.
