Playing Wisconsin first in B1G play

lol. but seriously, if this is a night game and we come in 3-0, I wouldn't bet against us.
of course, that doesn't really answer your question... I seem to remember a few years when we were playing them later with a championship on the line (both ways) and we won. so I like that scenario.
Possibly the best running back in the country will be pounding it against starting linebackers with just three games under their belt as a unit.

In 2015 we opened the B1G @ Wisconsin. Worked out pretty good that year. Much better to get them early than late but we still have to beat them regardless.
I love it. Going to be under the lights (almost guaranteed) and a huge spot for a hungry team. Catch them before they hit their stride and set the tone for the B1G West. Already looking forward to it
Weather wise, better for Iowa playing them earlier in the season to use the passing game better.
It seems that we have always played them middle to the end. I like the night game scenario like psu this past season (of course hoping for different outcome). I like the early slot because if we win, we can control our end destiny in the West... More fire for remainder of season.
As someone else said. Would much rather play them later in the year so our new LB's and DB's can get some quality experience under their belts. Wisconsin will be working in a lot of new guys on D as well but their offense is a much more sure thing than Iowa's is going into 2018. If we lose this game its going to make winning the West a tall task. Wisconsin will actually be favored in most of their B1G games next season. I like them winning at PSU and Michigan. As easy as our schedule is next year theirs is very manageable.
I think it’s irrelevant when we play them. The game is winnable, but Iowa seems to have a real serious case of Jekyl and Hyde lately. If we are ready to play and win the turnover battle, I believe we win.
I think the game just smells too much like psu this year. We win, we roll well, but lose, it'll squander us maybe. Hey just beat NIU first! Love all games are home through week 4 then the bye comes after wiscy too

would rather have psu first, we can lose that and still win division. lose to wiscy and that becomes much more difficult
The RBs haven't seen much time either and they're not gonna see a D anywhere that of wiscy before the game.
