A PV golf course employee was drowned today when pinned underwater by maintenance equipment he was operating. This is the second groundskeeper to die on a Johnson County golf course since 2021. Name being withheld at this time...

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports at 8:11 a.m. the Washington County Communications Center received a call about an incident that occurred at the Blue Top Ridge Golf Course. The employee, Thomas Guffey-Rammelsberg of Washington, was performing routine maintenance on the course when the Jacobsen Green King IV Plus lawn mower he was operating rolled on top of him, pinning him. Guffey-Rammelsberg succumbed to his injuries at the scene, and was transported to the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home. The Riverside Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance Service, AirCare, and Washington County Medical Examiner assisted at the scene.

Oh no, that's terrible. But I think your title might be wrong. The story says Blue Top, which is the casino course in Riverside. The title says Pleasant Valley. Two different places.

It's correct, I was just pointing out a previous incident that happened in 2021 at Blue Top. I have a friend that works at PV and know it was not him, so relieved yet still sad thing to happen...

That’s the second mower rolls over of guy into a pond death. Another one just happened in Central Missouri.

I like how they included the mower brand as well
