Meanwhile Drew Ott is not playing football. Good work NCAA! Class act of an organization right there, doing what is best for the "student athlete".
I don't know all of the details, but it appears he didn't play in six games last year so that might have something to do with it.
He played in 2012, 2013, 2014. So not parts of 4 years. He was injured prior to his RSSR year and applied for a medical hardship. Seems reasonable, we're just still frustrated that we burned Ott's redshirt toward the end of his freshman year.
