I agree this is trolling but it is fun to revisit just how bad gopher football has been in my lifetime. I’m almost 40 years old and in my lifetime your best season wouldn’t crack our top 15. Think about that! Your best would be roughly #16 of my lifetime. So rather your envious or not, is irrelevant. Maybe your delusional about how completely enemic Gopher football has been for 4 decades (actually longer).

It's fine that you're buying what Fleck is selling. However, not every successful MAC coach ends up being much more than pyrite ... so I urge you to measure you expectations accordingly.
Besides, one of the biggest factors that impact the career of a collge FB coach relates to QB development AND hitching your cart to the "right" QB. Last time I checked ... Goldy was needing to break in a new QB for the '18 season. That still is pointing to you team not really being relevant until possibly '19 .... however, if you do your homework on the Hawks ... the Hawk roster really shouldn't have any holes in it that year. Thus, in my estimation, that would imply that the first year that the Gophers should have a great chance of beating the Hawks is in 2020.

No doubt Scott. In this case David is an elite athlete, and not some tub of lard. We'll see how all this works out. There's a reason that teams don't just line up a bunch of 400 lb guys on the offensive line. Most also have issues staying healthy and mobile at that weight.
Can't row his boat in a big boy league? I would think Fleck is salivating at what he saw in the west. Take for example, when he saw Iowa up close and personal.
