Well........Iowa almost breaks 100 points. Coming in 4th with 97.5.
PSU 143.5, then tOSU, 114.5, next OSU 104.5, Iowa 4th at 97.5, then VT 88.

Some may remember that I was an early Suriano fanboy back in November/December, but even I won't predict that he places higher than Clark. In fact and unless Cael is really pulling the wool over our eyes, I'd bet against Nick placing higher than Cory. Hope I'm wrong though.

I'd be interested in knowing the major differences in your models. Looks like SHP's awards more bonus points.
That is the major difference. Andegre has mentioned he plans to continue tweaking wrestlestat because it doesn't project bonus very well at all. It didn't project one fall for the entire tournament and only 11 tech falls.

133 without Suriano? Do you have Gulibon placing? That is crazy high for WD,DNQ,Unseeded,1,1,3,5,2,5,5.
& the loss of Suriano bp's. That's unless the projections knew he was hurt beforehand.
Projections kind of split the baby with Suriano, primarily due to his injury default losses to Piccininni and Thornton. (those were NOT medical forfeits, and counted both towards his record and the Dual Impact Index)
Without Suriano, I have Mueller moving into sixth, Piccininni into eighth.
As for Gulibon, I have him 2-and-BBQ.
Also, keep in mind the abacus has Nickal beating Dean.

Dresser has quite the hill to climb. ISU has one point to their name after day one and only Weatherspoon at 174 is left in consolations. He may or may not win his next bout, and the one after that is problematic. ISU may end up with one point at nationals. WOW
Not as hard as you might think though to rebuild, imo. Marcus Harrington is a prime example, they must've tried to ruin him. I'm a hawk fan but also a big fan Iowa wrestlers, and it's painful to watch his college career.

It's not like a rebuild in football. You only need one good recruiting class(which we know he can do), to make a big difference and then two or three to be a top ten team again. The question is if he can continue to recruit the east coast like he has at VT

Well, after session 3, VT in 8th place with 35 pts, 34 points ahead of ISU
Why?
Other threads, other times some posters thought VT might overtake us for 3rd or 4th.
