Where is the "Only for the chili lunch special" option? Fun fact, Big Earl's opened a satellite location in Colfax, Iowa years ago. Went there once as a stop during a bachelor party. The talent was like semi-pro ball to Major League. They were big girls, but they moved fairly well. They weren't much to look at, but they did smile a lot.

I used to go a few times a year in my 20's and early 30's

when I was in a billiards league (circa 2000-2002) one of the other teams host site was a strip club, very distracting

I think 4 times in college for bachelor parties and that was it. Small town Iowa/SoDak clubs didn't have much to get excited about.

Honestly they get boring pretty quick, but if you sub them out for a bar then they're better. (booze + music + bullshitting with people and naked ladies)

Been to three I think.

Two for my bachelor party and another for a friend's.

We had a couple strippers come to another friend's bachelor party at his house but that's slightly different.

Oh just remembered another, was in LA.

That makes four.

Now that we're out of college and/or married/divorced, not as much as we used to. I used to enjoy grabbing a 30 pack and plopping down by the stage.

Now, I'd just feel bad for them more than anything. I'd probably see if they just needed a hug (in the least creepy way possible).

Eh, a lot of the young ones are there to make money and have fun. Those are who you party with. Lifers can be a bit depressing.

Now that I'm literally twice the age of many of the performers, it just feels wrong.

Use to frequent the ol lumberyard in CR pretty frequently in my single days.
More for the fact that you could bring your own beer in and watch tv and naked ladies.
Most nights it was actually cheaper than going to a bar.
Since I’ve been married it’s maybe once every other year when I get together with some old buddies and it’s more as a joke that anything else.

You guys are a bunch of boring old phucks.

Granted I haven't been to one in almost 20 years, I'd be down to visit a club if it had good talent.

I went once to that thing called Dolls/Dancer's something in the dump end of Coralville. I just played pool and drank beer, which was actually dirt cheap. Got chewed out by one of the hos because I did not provide any moolah to any of them due to my apparent pool skills and total apathy. You could get easier tail at Vitos than that joint. What was the purpose to go then?

Couple times in my youth after a night of drinking in DC. Then a couple of bachelor parties. Probably been 20 years or more.

Yep - that's what I did in my single days. Back then (80's) they were low-key places, especially on week nights, where you could sit at the bar and not have the appearance of being on the prowl. The "staff" were instructed to not try to hustle the guys at the bar for tips or table dances.

But once I got married I stopped.

Was up on this stage over 20 years ago.

LaMotte Iowa baby.

I was on all fours with a girl riding me as I was walking towards a girl with her legs spread.

:)

Other. . . I've never actually been to one.

Don't really care to either.
We kept passing a club called Sugars this weekend on our back-n-forth trips to the soccer fields for my son's tourny. He finally asked what the place was...that's what made the topic pop in my head.

Not my thing either.

The Chicken Ranch used to have a team in one of my leagues.

Once you are old enough to have kids closer to the strippers age than you are.

I think I went once after having kids, it gave me a weird feeling. I would never go back.

Less than 10 times. My buddy and I used to go once/year and he had a baby girl this year and we’ve both said probably no more. Feels weird now.

[yes, intentional WOB, so stop your mouth foaming]
I've been three times:
1. Best friend had buddies over from England that wanted to go.
2. Bachelor party
3. Final Four at a strip club that had great big... TVs. Got to see Big Country @ OkSt.

Other than that, never really saw the draw - dated girls that had stripped, so I knew the deal.
