POLL: BTT title vs. 1 and Done.

Mostly because of boredom today, I pose this question.

Would you rather win the Big Ten tournament title, but lose in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament.

OR, lose in the first round of the BTT, but then win ONE game in the NCAA tournament and lose in the 2nd round.

I would say sweet 16, but we need to keep it somewhat realistic here, plus I am sure everyone would pick sweet 16.

BTT titles are fun, but it's a real drag losing right away in the big dance. So I opted for the NCAA win.

If you have to choose, it's clearly NCAA. But why choose? There are some teams around the country who do well in their conference tourney AND in the NCAA. It should never be an either / or proposition for Iowa or anyone else.

Gotta make some noise, any noise, in the NCAA tournament to get recruits notice. No one cares who wins Power 5 conference tourneys.

Now, winning one game doesn't make that much noise, but for a program like Iowa that hasn't done that in soooo long, it's a pretty damn big deal.

Actually pretty close in the voting.

I took BTT actually. winning just 1 game in the NCAA, i don't know if I would take that over a nice weekend run and title in the conference. Those Alford runs were special.

Like i said, if it was go to the sweet 16, then yeah, it's a no brainer.

This scenario though? Not sure i don't take the BTT title.
