Robert Hur was labeled a "partisan hack" for stating this in his report....

He reasoned that “at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” In Hur’s view, “it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Pretty spot on.

In case anyone wants receipts.

Not only that, but it appears that the Dems lied for at least a couple of years in this particular incident.

The Democrats don't care.

This one minute video highlights a false attack that Harry Reid made against Romney. When confronted on it later, Reid was unapologetic.

All the left does is lie. Just look at their current vp, Mr stolen valor himself. They will dismiss anything as long as it's their "team" that is guilty. Clearly hur was correct about Biden being a vegetable.

The GOP has unapologetically lied for years at great consequence to our national cohesiveness and democratic process. Not sure why this one incident is worthy of its own thread.
Like Russia, Russia, Russia or like Romney hasn't paid any income tax or the fake National Guard papers about President Bush. or Biden is sharp as a tack and his staff can't keep up with him, are those the types of lies to which you refer?

Damn that thread is brutal. Read back through that, you do not hate your media enough.

They lied their collective ass off, and some of you gave them a giant microphone.

The GOP said the same thing about Biden for years, excluding the unwilling to convict him part, and were told that "this is the best version of Biden ever." Suddenly, he became a doddering old codger who is unfit to run for office. Biden did not want to drop out of the race. His party pushed him out. Against the wishes of their voters and their leader, the "Democratic" Party insiders selected their candidate for 2024, and proved themselves to be everything they accuse Donald Trump of being.

That's (D)ifferent. Now they're running fake national guard stories to cover for tampon Tim's stolen valor scandal. The cult being a cult.

Each one of those seem to be worthy of their own threads. Why not this one?

Of course not. He was auditioning for a job in a second Trump administration, not fulfilling his duties. He editorialized.

Funny when you look back at all of these piece of shit liars saying “He’s the sharpest guy in to a room and full of energy when we have private meetings!” Then three days later pushing him off the ticket because they know none of the shit they are saying is remotely true.

And that, in case you’re wondering, is pretty much the definition of “gaslighting”.

Again, it’s adorbs when Northern suddenly cares about a politician making a false attack. That’s some funny shit.

And Hur doesn’t deserve an apology. He overstepped his mandate, breached DOJ normal procedures in his memo, and framed it to inflict political damage.
You mean like Garland did appointing Smith as Special Counsel without Senate approval?

I’m going to vote for Harris and I think Hur nailed it.
Just think if D's had taken the report seriously and started the Biden discussion in February instead of attacking him. Might have ended up with a good candidate instead of Harris.

Maybe D's join R's in demanding the interview audio be released....might have had the debate "moment" in Feb.
