I try to pull the door just before hits zero so it doesn't beep at me.

I’m very patient, always have been, but my wife ALWAYS pulls the door open with time left and doesn’t clear it out, so part of it is a silent protest against her heathen-like behavior.

Probably the only time I stop it early is for example when I'm heating up something that will take 45 seconds. Much easier to push the 30 second start button twice and then stop around 15. Otherwise as others have said, I'm generally not standing there waiting for the timer to hit 0.

I pull it open and always clear the flashing time left. My wife does two things that drive me nuts, she either pulls it too soon w/o clearing OR she leaves something in there forever and the reminder beep keeps going off every few minutes.

Waiting for the microwave to finish is about as bad as trying to respond on HBOT and get yelled at with that stupid message, "You must wait blah blah seconds to post..." Feels like eterinity!
