I put Soup on ignore years ago, When he posted he wished my house would burn down with my dogs in it I had to walk away. (He was serious when he posted that)
Yeah. I couldn't believe what he was allowed to post before finally getting the permaban.
I've only ignored a few. Not even sure they post anymore. All super obvious trolls from different teams that didn't even discuss sports. I think they were either Cyclone or Nebraska pains.
I think I might have one "Hawk" fan on ignore. There are plenty of threads that I just skip here based on who started them.

I have never used the ignore function, but have don't judge people that do. There's plenty here worth ignoring.
I just thought of something... this poll might be skewed because people who have me on ignore won't be able to vote.
If you can't handle the good, bad and the ugly on this board then why are you here.
Some posters just bicker and whine. Some are just assholes to be people with different opinions than their own.

Most of what I post is near worthless so I understand others ignoring me and others like me.
However I like to see what everybody has to say and what’s being said stands out while who said it doesn’t necessarily.

I put people that cross lines on ignore. I’m here for hawks, boobs, and debates, not death threats.
Some folks just don't live in reality... even less than most on here... I've ignored a couple who just don't really contribute anything
Haven't used it once in almost 21 years. I don't have time to keep up with what's being fed to the followers of extremist media so a big reason I'm here is to let a handful of usual suspects bring it to me. They rarely fail.

When I feel like someone isn't arguing in good faith, I will ignore them because its a waste of time when someones only goal is to stir up shit. I think I have 3 people on ignore so Im pretty tolerant.

There are a handful of full-time trolls on this site and there is no point to ever seeing their content. Ignoring them is the only logical thing to do to have a more enjoyable board experience.
Sometimes I see the notification that somebody I have ignored posted something. Then I click to show it and I can’t think of a time I considered that post to be thoughtful, honest, or enriching in any way.
This is true. I think I have done this 100 times, and rarely am I pleasantly surprised. When I am it is invariably a thread about dogs, boobs, or something similar that everyone loves.
