So everyone who has stood up for Elon is a collaborator because ... ?History has all sorts of collaborators. The Polish-Nazi collaborators. The Jewish-Nazi collaborators. Now we have oligarch collabartors trying to gaslight people with eyeballs.

I'm not an Elon fan, but my oldest daughter and I see an awkward, autistic man trying to make an innocent (albeit cringey) gesture. His response should have been something like, 'My apologies if my actions were misinterpreted. I assure you they won't happen again.' Of course, that's just my evaluation of this particular moment on its own merits, without judging it through the lens of his associates or previous actions. IMO, there's so much other chaos going on in the WH, focusing on this more than a few minutes is a waste of time--time I've already spent too much of.So everyone who has stood up for Elon is a collaborator because ... ?

I didn't mean not to focus on him per se' (I'm very focused on tangible actions from his position w/in the DOGE), but him being his usual awkward self, for me is "meh". Others don't have to agree and are free to continue on with the discussion. Just speaking for myself.I agreed up to here. Musk has a ton of influence in said WH. His actions reflect on Trump and the Administration.
He's already been down this road though (the bolded part).I'm not an Elon fan, but my oldest daughter and I see an awkward, autistic man trying to make an innocent (albeit cringey) gesture. He absolutely knew what he was doing. Classic attention whore behavior, do something, anything to stay in the news.I went one step further. I'm not trying to be mean but I'm not sure he has the social understating to know how awkward it looks to do something he thought looked cool. I'm not thinking it was intentional... but...

So you, the "journalist" are going to play dumb on this one too.You apparently are if you can't see the difference in the videos.

Oh, maybe you'll take on the challenge. Please detail the differences in the two videos. Go!So you, the "journalist" are going to play dumb on this one too.
Just stop, it makes all of you look completely ridiculous, and you're supposed to be 'just a little above' the other disingenuous leftists, since you have/had some level of professionalism to uphold...
He's gonna have to find a tik toker that breaks down the differences first. Then he can come back here and post that video.Oh, maybe you'll take on the challenge. Please detail the differences in the two videos. Go!

Honestly, how often are autistic people being filmed for public scrutiny (we have no sample size for comparison)? As for the DSM, I don't really agree with that diagnosis being removed, mostly it was done because those with the diagnosis weren't getting the same level of care/attention as others on the spectrum. It was kind of looked at like ADHD--"Oh, your kid's hyper!? Mine is too."Autistic people are always throwing Nazi salute. It is one of the criteria to diagnose them with.
For what it's worth Ketamine Ken self diagnosed himself with Asperger's which wasn't in the DSM at the time.
Look at the video posted earlier in this thread of Hitler doing the salute and Elon doing what he’s doing side by side and if you can point out 3 definitive differences I’ll concede your argument is correct. So you, the "journalist" are going to play dumb on this one too.

Anyway. Like I said, we don't have to agree on this one.
Of note, I found this interesting and it totally makes sense why Musk would suddenly support Trump--both have very fragile egos and low self esteem:
Elon changed after Biden snubbed him, father Errol Musk says
Errol Musk detailed his son’s political transformation, highlighting a shift from supporting Democrats to aligning with Trump. He attributed this change to former President Joe Biden’s perceived slight of not inviting Tesla to a White House electric vehicle event in 2021.
“He started changing when Biden invited all the electric car manufacturers to the White House in 2021 but didn’t invite Tesla. Tesla built a million cars, and the other five manufacturers built about 26 and hadn’t even sold one,” Errol Musk told NewsNation.
“Elon couldn’t understand that. He started calling Biden a lunatic and the government ‘loony,'” Errol Musk said.
Errol Musk recounted a 2016 incident in which Elon and his brother were upset by their father’s public support for Trump. He suggested Elon’s current alignment with Trump stems from feeling marginalized by the Democratic administration.
I guess we get to blame the Democrats again.

For me it's not an excuse, but rather an observation. He 100% isn't socially adjusted at all. Autism or not, he's a very awkward individual. I'd venture to say if he wasn't aligned with Trump, he'd may get more sympathy in that regard. The thing that annoys me the most about the autism thing is people are using it as an excuse for him. Is that how we feel about autistic people?
Having met a handful of heirs in my day I have noticed they have the personality of homeschoolers, but with the wealth they become entitled. I know it's a funny diagnosis but affluenza with narcissism. He isn't socially adjusted at all.
