Only PAC 10 and B1G went at that time. Probably a good thing for Michigan. I think that Nebraska team would've beaten Michigan by 2 TDs imo.
Completely missed the point.
By the way, no amount of Scott Frost bragging or begging on National TV would have assisted in beating Michigan.
We will start crushing you again, sooner not later. Get ready, cuz here we come!
Exactly. And they have had offenses that can throw the ball. And they have recruited well in terms of rankings.I voted he will be fired. Nebraska is delusional about their football team.
After watching UCF, they throw the ball 75% of the time and don't play defense.
That doesn't work in the Big in November.
Until Nebraska figures out that line play wins games they will be average at best.
Frost will improve Nebraska, but considering .500 is the bar BFD!
They will be breathing down his neck if they don’t win some games next year"HawkBlocked,"....All new faces at Nebraska...and EVERYBODY knows it's a dumpster fire...
Scott is a winner... a homeboy... and has the TOTAL support of the Husker nation and Admin.... Nobody is going to breath down his neck for 7 years.... when your at the very bottom of the gutter....'everything' is up....
They will bring excitement to the West....and be fun to watch and play.
Havent looked but it would be pretty tough to play much of a tougher schedule than the Hawks played this year.He will get the time he needs. Riley was just a terrible coach who went 19-19 in three years. That is why he was shown the door. 4-8 settled his fate. You’d think a bowl game should always be attainable. Next years schedule is brutal, think Iowa would want to switch?
Huskers will give Frost some time to get things turned around. I think it'll take 3-5 years to compete for Big 10 West. He'll be lucky to get to 6-6 next year and most Husker fans get that - really tough schedule next yr. 2018 is a more favorable schedule, we'll be better after that. Recruiting will be key. We seem to do well in that regard, so I am optimistic going forward,, Its all better than where its been lately. They will be breathing down his neck if they don’t win some games next year

I think Frost will do a good job, but your 20 and 21 schedules look very tough, too.Huskers will give Frost some time to get things turned around. The only fan base that needs to get over Nebraska’s success of the 70’s through the 90’s more than Nebraska fans are Iowa fans.
It makes perfect sense and it’s the only way I can explain the fact that the Iowa board still has 5 Nebraska threads on its front page.
What will the 2nd coming of Tom Osborne a.k.a Scott Frost do at Nebby? I personally think he gets fired in 5 years.
He wouldn't have had to beg if the B10 and PAC12 weren't hiding in the Rose Bowl and not playing with the big boys. I'm glad those days are over.
Trade Michigan for Penn State and Colorado for Iowa State and it's pretty much the same. They will be breathing down his neck if they don’t win some games next year

It’s the road games that will be a killer. At Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Iowa. Four home games are Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan State.Trade Michigan for Penn State and Colorado for Iowa State and it's pretty much the same.
Iowa and Northwestern have been a wash on the road. Wisconsin and Ohio State are pretty tough. It’s the road games that will be a killer. At Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Iowa. Four home games are Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan State.
Agree, I wonder since expansion how many teams played at Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio State in the same year?Iowa and Northwestern have been a wash on the road. Wisconsin and Ohio State are pretty tough.
Nebraska is lucky they didn't have to play PSU in '94 and Michigan in '97. That Penn State team beat tOSU 63-14 and blew out everybody they played. I have no doubt they would have beat Nebraska.
Says you, most people disagree with you and that's why NU got the trophy.
That PSU team was the best I have ever seen in person. The combination of Collins, Engram, Brady, and Carter was ridiculous.Nebraska is lucky they didn't have to play PSU in '94 and Michigan in '97. Charles Woodson. 'nuff said. That PSU team was the best I have ever seen in person.
When Iowa hired Coach Ferentz his only head coaching experience was with the Maine Black Bears, a 1AA program. In addition, his record while at Maine was 12-21. So what exactly is your point? They just hired a mid major coach. So what?

I think in a couple of years he will be hard to beat. He is an offensive coach with a wide open game. If he gets the recruits he will be hard to stop on offense. Defense will have to get alot better for him to get in the championship type games.
So you really have no point other than to try and throw water on OP's thread because it has no bearing on whether Scott Frost will be successful at Nebraska.Do you have a hard grasp of the typed word or are you just living to be a smart ass?
I'm typing this slowly for you. My point is...Nebraska hired a mid major coach.
Got it?

Scott Frost will beg the coaches on national TV to give Nebraska one more title. He was pretty effective last time.
